This 28 Gauge shotgun is the Titanium model from Cosmi. The upper receiver is machined from Grade 5 titanium, creating a lightweight shotgun that is truly a memorable experience. The Titanium model offers a 10% weight savings compared to the Steel model.  There are 100 parts that are machined from solid billet and completely hand fit, and hand polished to a mirror finish. The Cosmi shotguns are a breakover semi-automatic that has an internal tubular magazine that feeds down the stock. You get the benefit of both a breakover and a semi-automatic, along with the ultimate shotgun balance.  Titanium grade 5 has extreme tensile strength properties at room temperature and viscous flow resistance. The crack resistance and crack propagation resistance are excellent. Like most titanium alloys, Grade 5 has superior corrosion resistance. It has about half the density of nickel alloys and is widely used in the aerospace sector. This model features a 28” ribbed barrel.  Incorporated into the barrel is a Briley Mobil Choke, used for versatility no matter what type of shooting discipline or platform that you are participating in. Utilizing a pistol grip, the gun has a natural and comfortable fit to the hand.  The receiver features Classic Deluxe engraving with scroll on the receiver and a hand engraved woodcock on the bottom of the receiver. The beautiful, upgraded grade 3 exhibition Turkish Walnut stock which is hand carved and hand checkered, giving this shotgun a spectacular look.
